Reasons not to be an iPhone 3G early adopterOk... the iPhone 3G is just way kewl. However, there are lots of reasons to NOT not be an early adopter on any technology, much less the iPhone 3G. I'm a huge Apple fan, most notably a Mac OSX fan. Any really stable, "just works" operating system based on BSD is always fine by me. Based on a few experiences in the Apple store at Tyson's Corner and then this post at 43 Folders, I think I'll wait for the first service pack before making the plunge. My Blackjack II is still impressing me with the simplicity of the user interface and that it "just works". The key pad is awesome and once I added the Opera browser for Windows Mobile 6, life got really easy. In order to make the UI functional, though, I had to add a couple additional applications: Put these together and you have a very smooth operating machine that is all business.
