My quest for running OS X virtually on any VM Ware host may have finally arrived. I don't have time to play with it (or play with anything for that matter), but I mark this so I can share and come back to it.
I can't tell you how important it is to know how to shrink your Windows disk image in VMWare. I learned early just how quickly snapshots of Windows images use up your laptop harddrive. Learn to shrink it... fast.
Lately I've fallen in love with the concept of virtual appliances on blades servers. I don't have a lot of time to fool around with system administration and my business isn't quite large enough to invest in outsourcing (there is threshold at which outsourcing makes sense and doesn't make sense). The VMWare Virtual Appliance Marketplace gives me pre-built appliances to try out various segments of my IT Infrastructure befor putting it in place.
