BusinessREPORT: Living in the burbs costs more than living in the cityA recent study covered here in the Washington Post suggests that commuting from the suburbs to the city cancels out any cost savings of living in in the suburbs. I've known this for the last two years. Living in Cascades is expensive. Now that the real estate market has stabilized the cost of a townhouse in DC is still less than out here 25 miles from the city. So why live here?
